A man asks ChatGPT how to smuggle drugs into Europe, and the bot responds with suggestions. According to a new VICE article, a man appeared to have learnt how to smuggle cocaine into Europe. After talking with an OpenAI chatbot for 12 hours, he looked to have gotten some insider information about how to break into the drug business. He began by inquiring about the constituents of several illegal substances. The AI-generated response provided him with the elements for crack cocaine but stated that providing more intricate chemical knowledge would be “illegal.” According to the source, when ChatGPT was asked if consuming marijuana was “morally bad,” the bot responded that it was a “subjective matter.”

Elon Musk, Twitter’s new owner, has stated that the microblogging service had to be “rescued from bankruptcy,” which needed a lot of hard work. Since Elon Musk’s takeover, the corporation has undergone drastic transformations and is no longer the same. Twitter, for example, has cut its workforce from 7,000 to approximately 2,300 workers. Musk also implemented a number of policy changes at the corporation and changed the facilities available to staff. In a tweet, Musk stated that the last three months have been hard as he had to save ‘Twitter from bankruptcy, while executing crucial Tesla & SpaceX tasks’. The billionaire also stated that Twitter has a long way to go and that he will continue to support it.

According to an interview with Mira Murati, CTO at OpenAI, the company that developed ChatGPT and Dall-E, the creator is concerned that AI may be abused and “used by evil actors.” She continues by saying that it’s still possible for other parties to become engaged and that laws might be required. Murati said the firm was pleased with the welcome while pointing out that it still has difficulties over the wildly popular AI chatbot. We didn’t anticipate this amount of excitement from welcoming our child into the world, she said. The difficulties with ChatGPT are the same difficulties we observe with the base large language models: it may be difficult to anticipate the next word. ChatGPT is essentially a large conversational model—a large neural net that has been trained to predict the next word.

Sam Bankman-Fried informed an FTX all-hands meeting of an expansion to the company’s employees early last year. It wasn’t the accounting director. There was no risk manager. Instead, a psychiatrist would work as a counsellor for stressed-out employees at the rapidly expanding cryptocurrency exchange. According to meeting attendees, Dr. George Lerner presented himself on the video meeting and invited staff to consult with him. FTX went bankrupt in November when it was revealed that company had misappropriated billions of dollars in customer payments. Mr. Bankman-Fried is now being held in his home after pleading not guilty to fraud charges. FTX is in the process of declaring bankruptcy. Late last month, FTX’s new management requested that a judge issue subpoenas to access a wide range of internal communications, including those between employees.

In the Dogecoin community, all eyes are now on Elon Musk. Dogecoin supporters are certain that the cryptocurrency will be rewarded in due course, as Twitter launches a new function. According to Elon Musk’s tweet, a portion of the cash produced by Twitter adverts will shortly be made accessible to creditors. “Twitter will begin sharing ad revenue with creators for advertising that show in their reply threads today.” Elon Musk wrote in a tweet that drove Twitter users into a frenzy. So far, no additional information has been released, but creators are anticipating Elon Musk and the Twitter team revealing the actual amount. It’s important to keep in mind that accessibility is limited and exclusive to a select few. “To be eligible, the account must be a subscriber to Twitter Blue Verified,” Elon Musk said in another tweet.
