Even though the model’s architecture and training set have yet to be made public, it is evident that it significantly outperforms GPT-3 and fixes several of its flaws. GPT-4 is available to ChatGPT Plus customers at no additional cost for a short time. Another choice is to sign up for the GPT-4 API waitlist; however, it can take some time before you are granted access. But the fastest access point for GPT-4 is Microsoft Bing Chat. Participation is free, and there is no waiting list. One distinguishing feature of the GPT-4 is its adaptability to various operating environments. As a result, the model may use images as input and treat them similarly to text prompts.

OpenAI pledges to upgrade its models regularly. Some versions, like the GPT-3.5-turbo, have lately received regular upgrades. To facilitate developers that want stability, the older version of a model is supported for at least three months after a new version is launched. Due to its large model library, frequent updates, and focus on data safety, OpenAI is a flexible platform.
