Baidu, the Chinese search giant, recently unveiled “Ernie Bot,” its latest artificial intelligence project. While Ernie Bot’s language capabilities have received great feedback, it remains to be seen whether it will be able to equal ChatGPT’s success. The amount of training data received by each model is an important component in this comparison. ChatGPT was trained on a large dataset, allowing it to generate highly coherent responses to a variety of topics.
