Microsoft reportedly planning to launch ChatGPT-powered search engine Bing soon

Microsoft launched the new top-tier Teams video conference subscription plan for enterprises last week. The premium service is distinguished by its integration with OpenAI’s advanced ChatGPT chatbot.
The Teams app will be able to provide a well-articulated team meeting summary with notes, tasks, and highlights as a result of this. For example, if a team meeting member has to take an urgent call and leave the meeting, or is interrupted due to a system crash issue, he or she will still be able to see key conference points.
Microsoft is now rumoured to be planning to combine ChatGPT’s AI power with its proprietary search engine. Some Bing users saw a preview of a new search interface that replaced the search tab with a larger text block to type long questions. As seen in the screenshot shared on Twitter by student Owen Yin, there is a banner indicating that Microsoft is bringing new Bing and that users can ask real questions and get complete answers.
Yin even tried out the new feature and was impressed with the results of the Bing search. Yin also mentioned that the search engine is powered by the new ChatGPT 4.0 and is up to date on world events. It should be noted that OpenAI’s ChatGPT limited public access is an older v3.5 version that can only provide answers to information up to September 2021.

Unfortunately, the new ChatGPT-Bing teaser only lasted a few minutes before disappearing. It is no longer available on the Microsoft Bing search page in the Edge browser. The teaser and link were most likely released by an overly excited intern or employee prior to receiving the official nod.
Microsoft has not yet officially released the teaser or confirmed it to the media. However, based on the fully functional feature tested by Owen Yin, has given us enough evidence to believe that Microsoft has done quite a lot of testing, and many believe that it will be ready to roll out to the public in the coming weeks.
