Yotta Data Services has launched Drishticam, an AI cloud-based surveillance platform designed to enhance security and operational efficiency across various industries. Built on Videonetics’ advanced multi-tenant Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) platform, Drishticam promises seamless integration with existing systems, working with both analog and digital cameras.
Drishticam provides real time threat detection and advanced security features like facial recognition, biometric access control and predictive analytics. These tools aim to optimise monitoring by reducing false alarms, identifying unusual behaviours, and allowing immediate interventions.
Beyond security, Drishticam’s offers actionable insights into patterns such as traffic flow and peak usage hours, helping businesses optimise operations. Being a subscription based model, it allows organisations to scale their surveillance systems as needed, avoiding hefty upfront investments. Features like Automatic Network Replenishment (ANR) also ensure continuous video recording, even during network disruptions.

The company has been making advancements in the AI ecosystem aiming to come up with cost effective solutions. Recently, the company acquired Indiqus Technologies, a private cloud technology provider, to reduce India’s dependency on foreign cloud service providers.
Yotta also launched the Shambho Accelerator Programme, an initiative designed to foster innovation among AI startups. This program aims to provide participating startups with access to Yotta’s extensive technological and infrastructural resources, including its high-performance cloud computing and advanced AI solutions.
