Yotta Data Services has introduced Rudra, a strategic program aimed at accelerating AI innovation for startups, software developers, and service providers in India by leveraging NVIDIA’s accelerated computing.
The program provides access to Yotta’s Shakti Cloud platform, which includes NVIDIA Hopper GPUs and the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite.
As part of the initiative, startups and ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) enrolled in the NVIDIA Inception and Connect programs can receive cloud credits of up to $50,000 on Yotta’s Shakti Cloud. These credits enable extended access to high-performance computing resources for developing and deploying advanced AI models.
“We’ve created the Rudra program to significantly accelerate AI innovation in India,” said Sunil Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Yotta. “By offering up to $50,000 in cloud credits and providing access to state-of-the-art infrastructure and expertise, we aim to eliminate financial barriers and foster an ecosystem where startups and ISVs can thrive. This initiative underscores our commitment to empowering AI leaders to tackle both local and global challenges.”
Available on Yotta’s Shakti Cloud for AI and high-performance computing needs, NVIDIA GPUs are ideal for deploying AI models within the country. Coupled with the comprehensive cloud services which includes managed bare-metal GPU nodes, Kubernetes clusters, AI endpoint inferencing, AI serverless inferencing, AI labs, the Rudra program is ideal for startups in India.
This would also include availability of LLMs, speech recognition, and multimodal AI models with exclusive discounts for additional cost benefits for NVIDIA Inception and Connect members beyond the free credits.
The Rudra program aligns with Yotta’s commitment to bolstering India’s AI landscape. Over 80% of Yotta’s GPU resources are dedicated to Indian customers, ensuring domestic innovation while also addressing global AI demands.
“The demand for AI solutions in India is skyrocketing,” Gupta added. “With Rudra, we aim to empower startups to create solutions that address critical challenges across industries.”
Recently, Yotta also acquired IndiQus Technologies, the parent company of Apiculus, a leading cloud platform provider. The acquisition significantly enhances Yotta’s cloud and AI capabilities.
In September, Yotta launched Shambho, an accelerator program designed to nurture and accelerate the growth of Indian startups in the Cloud and AI sectors. Partnering with Nasscom and the Telangana AI Mission, Shambho aimed to provide startups with world class infrastructure, mentorship and technical support.
