The enhanced facility, located in Panchshil Business Park, now spans 59,307 square feet across two floors, reinforcing TransUnion’s commitment to advancing its global market strategy through technological innovation and operational excellence.
The Pune GCC serves as a key hub within TransUnion’s global network, which includes centers in Costa Rica, India, and South Africa. India’s GCC operations, with locations in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Pune, play a pivotal role in boosting the company’s scalability, operational resilience, and service offerings.
The expanded center is designed to support product and platform solutions, data science and analytics, intelligent automation, and business process management, among other capabilities.
“This investment reflects our vision for business growth and operational excellence, enabling seamless experiences for the clients and consumers we support globally,” said Debasis Panda, senior vice president, Global Operations and Head of GCCs at TransUnion. He added that the center will create diverse career opportunities for local talent while delivering world-class support for TransUnion’s global operations.
The expanded Pune GCC is poised to further strengthen TransUnion’s ability to innovate and adapt to the modern economy. By leveraging local talent and a global operating model, the company aims to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality.
Eric Hess, executive vice president, Global Operations, emphasised the city’s unique advantages, noting, “Pune is home to top-tier educational institutions, a vibrant startup culture, and a steady pipeline of skilled professionals. These factors make it the perfect place to expand our capabilities and deliver exceptional services.”
This expansion highlights TransUnion’s commitment to using its GCC network to create economic opportunities, support global operations, and foster technological advancements that benefit clients and consumers across more than 30 countries.
In an earlier interaction with AIM, Panda mentioned that the success of their Chennai centre paved the way for them to expand their GCC network to six centres across three continents.
