Shivnath Thukral, Vice President of Public Coverage at Meta India, introduced that he’ll step down by June finish, after serving for almost seven and a half years.
In a LinkedIn publish, Thukral described the choice as “not a simple” one however stated he’s stepping away “very assured that our coverage engagement with stakeholders is at a reputable and constructive juncture.”
Thukral acknowledged his group’s contributions, stating that it’s now a very good time to let the engine and the group work independently.
Reflecting on his time at Meta, Thukral stated the corporate has taught him an excellent deal and allowed him to work with leaders, together with Joel Kaplan, Ajit Mohan, Sandeep Bhushan, Rishi Raj Gupta, Manish Chopra, Avinash Pant, Ankhi Das, and Bipasha Chakrabarti as key figures in that journey.
Whereas he didn’t specify his subsequent skilled transfer, Thukral stated he intends to spend extra time on “operating, well being and household.”

As a member of the India management group, he performed a key position in navigating and shaping coverage and regulatory conversations and engagements that have been crucial for the trade and Meta in India over the past 7.5 years. We thank him for his management and contributions, and want him properly in his future endeavours,” stated Kevin Martin, VP, Head of International Coverage, Meta.
