India’s e-commerce enabler Shiprocket has introduced Shiprocket Copilot, an AI-powered virtual assistant aimed at transforming the businesses of over 1 lakh small and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) sellers. Shiprocket promises this tool will streamline daily operations, improve productivity, and help Indian sellers navigate the complexities of e-commerce independently.
It also offers features that address everything from order processing to international shipping queries.
Shiprocket Copilot provides a comprehensive suite of tools designed specifically to address the needs of India’s MSME sector. From tracking orders and managing cash-on-delivery (COD) billing to guiding sellers through the nuances of WhatsApp integration, the AI assistant simplifies the intimidating tasks of digital retail.
“With Copilot, sellers gain a powerful, user-friendly tool that guides them through essential processes—whether it’s setting up new sales channels, managing returns, or tracking shipments,” shared Saahil Goel, MD and CEO of Shiprocket.
Powered by advanced GenAI models like Llama, GPT, and Gemini, Copilot delivers highly accurate responses in multiple languages, making it an accessible solution for merchants across India. The platform updates its extensive knowledge base every 15 days, ensuring sellers have the latest insights and support.
A study by Meta underscores the impact of AI, with 94% of MSMEs agreeing that AI is essential for business growth and 91% highlighting the need for affordable AI. Shiprocket’s Copilot answers this demand by providing MSMEs with user-friendly, 24/7 guidance by a virtual assistant that delivers instant answers and helps manage essential processes, saving sellers valuable time and enhancing productivity.

Shiprocket recently shared insights on e-commerce growth during the festive season, highlighting the influence of AI-driven recommendations and social media influencers. According to the report, in fashion and beauty categories, 84% of consumers made purchases influenced by promotions or influencer suggestions.
