There has been a mysterious chatbot going around on the internet, with powerful capabilities, ones that people say can put GPT-4 to the test. im-good-gpt-2-chatbot was on the LMSYS Org, a benchmarking website for testing models. It abruptly disappeared last week, but is now back again on the website.

To fuel everyone’s curiosity, OpenAI chief Sam Altman posted on X, “I do have a soft spot for gpt2”.

After this cryptic post, Altman posted again, “im-good-gpt-2-chatbot”, leaving everyone wondering if the model was actually created by OpenAI, and perhaps that the company was just testing out the next version of its LLM in the open.

In light of these speculations, Altman replied to another post which said “i’m a bad gpt4 chatbot” with “you-are-not-a-good-user”. This is the same response that Bing Chat used to give when being tested and was internally code named Sydney.

All this points towards the ‘mysterious gpt-2-chatbot’ being indeed made by OpenAI or Microsoft.

How good is good-gpt-2?

Everyone is testing out the model capabilities. Min Choi was able to create a Flappy Bird clone with just a single prompt and three images.

Some say that it is a smaller version of GPT-5, while others say that it is just another model. It is not even clear yet if it is actually created by OpenAI, which is highly unlikely. Making things interesting, a user on Reddit posted a screenshot claiming that the model retrieved information from the OpenAI website.

It is also quite possible that OpenAI upgraded GPT-2, the 1.5 billion parameter model with sophisticated fine-tuning on synthetic data by newer models. Moreover, it also uses OpenAI’s tiktoken tokenizer and also similar prompt injection vulnerabilities when compared to others such as Mistral or Meta.

According to several developers, the model also works very similar to the OG GPT-2 by OpenAI with increased reasoning and multimodal capabilities. In an experiment, the model was able to solve a freshman physics problem that all other models, including GPT-4 Turbo, were unable to solve.

But when it comes to more such capabilities, the same screenshot also showcases 250,000 tokens per minute, which is surprisingly slow when compared to other open source models in the arena, or when it comes to OpenAI’s expertise.

Moreover, some experts say that if this is indeed a smaller or teaser version of GPT-5, it would hugely impact OpenAI’s AI superiority as the onset of Llama 3’s next version would overshadow it. Sully on X posted that the model is barely better than GPT-4 as per his evaluations.

Release GPT-5 already

Altman had recently said that in the coming months, GPT-4 would be the worst model when compared to what the company is building. If true, it means that all the other models trying to compete with GPT-4 are much worse than what OpenAI has been building.

In a recent talk at Harvard University, Altman said that the secret chatbot is not GPT-4.5, which a lot of people were predicting. Some even predicted that it could be a version of Microsoft’s Phi-3 model, which was released just a few days ago.

According to several speculations, OpenAI is also expected to soon release its search features on ChatGPT, giving it close competition to Google and the likes of Perplexity. The possibility of gpt-2-chatbot, a small and lightweight model to be tested out with that is also not completely undeniable. Moreover, the company also might be testing the model for its upcoming Apple partnership for on-edge use cases.

Adding to this, there has been a lot of hype around the new AI models by other companies such as Meta, Databricks, and Anthropic, which may have forced OpenAI to release the cryptic model out in the open to show that it is still on the lead of others.

It is high time that OpenAI releases GPT-5, given that Altman believes in releasing models in a staggered fashion, instead of all at once.

Last year, Apple treated AI developers with M3 chips, which lets them work with large transformer models with billions of parameters on the MacBook, seamlessly.

M3 prominently features GPUs with “Dynamic Caching,” unlike traditional GPUs, making it useful for game developers and users of graphics-intensive apps like Photoshop or photo-related AI tools.

A user said in Hacker news, “If (and that’s a big if) they keep their APIs open to run any kind of AI workload on their chips it’s a strategy that, I personally really really welcome as I don’t want the AI future to be centralised in the hands of a few powerful cloud providers.”

If Apple keeps the M4 chip’s APIs open, it would be beneficial for developers as it would allow them to run a variety of AI workloads on the chip, rather than being dependent on a few cloud providers.

However, with improved AI capabilities, faster performance and efficiency, and media capabilities will significantly benefit developers in creating more advanced, powerful, and visually stunning applications.

Combatting Deepfakes in Australia: Content Credentials is the Start

There is growing consensus on how to address the challenge of deepfakes in media and businesses, generated through technologies such as AI. Earlier this year, Google announced that it was joining the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity as a steering committee member — other organisations in the C2PA include OpenAI, Adobe, Microsoft, AWS and the RIAA. With growing concern about AI misinformation and deepfakes, IT professionals will want to pay close attention to the work of this body, and particularly Content Credentials, as the industry formalises standards governing how visual and video data is managed.

What are Content Credentials?

Content Credentials are a form of digital metadata that creators can attach to their content to ensure proper recognition and promote transparency. This tamper-evident metadata includes information about the creator and the creative process that is embedded directly into the content at the time of export or download. Content Credentials have the best chance of arriving at a globally standardised and agreed-on way of labelling content yet, thanks to the weight of the companies behind the concept.

The use of Content Credentials offers several benefits. It will help to build credibility and trust with audiences by providing more information about the creator and the creative process. This transparency can aid in combating misinformation and disinformation online. Equally, it will become easier to identify and de-platform or remove content that isn’t legitimate.

Deepfakes are a challenge that Australia is struggling to grapple with

Australia, like much of the rest of the world, is struggling with a massive acceleration of deepfake fraud. Sumsub’s third annual Identity Fraud Report found a 1,530% surge in deepfakes in Australia over the past year and noted that the sophistication of these was also increasing.

The situation has become so concerning that the government has recently announced a strategy to counter some specific examples of it and then establish pathways to treat it as any other form of illegal content.

Deepfakes are particularly potent sources of disinformation because the eye can be tricked so quickly. Research suggests that it takes as little as 13 milliseconds to identify an image — a time frame much shorter than the length of time it would take to work through and determine the validity of it. In other words, deepfakes are such a risk because they can already have the intended impact on a person before they can be analysed and dismissed.

For example, Australia’s leading science body, the CSIRO, published information on “how to spot a deepfake,” and that guidance requires extensive analysis.

“If it’s a video, you can check if the audio is properly synced to the lip movement. Do the words match the mouth? Other things to check for are unnatural blinking or flickering around the eyes, odd lighting or shadows, and facial expressions that don’t match the emotional tone of the speech,” CSIRO expert, Dr. Kristen Moore, said in the guidance feature.

So, as useful as that advice is, equipping the end target of deepfakes on how to identify them isn’t going to be enough to prevent them from wreaking havoc across society.

Government and the private sector need to come together to combat deepfakes

The government making deepfakes illegal is a positive step in protecting those that would be victimised by them. However, the IT industry will need to be the ones that develop ways of identifying and managing this content.

There are already high-profile cases of major business figures like Dick Smith and Gina Rinehart “demanding” that organisations such as Meta be more proactive in preventing AI scams, after their likenesses were used in deepfakes.

As noted by the Australian eSafety Commissioner, the “development of innovations to help identify deepfakes is not yet keeping pace with the technology itself.” For its part, the Australian government has committed to combatting deepfakes by:

  • Raising awareness about deepfakes so Australians are provided with a reasoned and evidence-based overview of the issue and are well-informed about options available to them.
  • Supporting people who have been targeted through a complaint reporting system. Any Australian whose photo or video has been digitally altered and shared online can contact eSafety for help to have it removed.
  • Preventing harm through developing educational content about deepfakes, so Australians can critically assess online content and more confidently navigate the online world.
  • Supporting industry through our Safety by Design initiative, which helps companies and organisations to embed safety into their products and services.
  • Supporting industry efforts to reduce or limit the redistribution of harmful deepfakes by encouraging them to develop: policies, terms of service and community standards on deepfakes, screening and removal policies to manage abusive and illegal deepfakes, methods to identify and flag deepfakes in their community.

Ultimately, for this vision to be successful, there needs to be support from the industry, with the organisations providing the technology and investing most deeply into AI. This is where Content Credentials comes in.

Steps to take to help combat deepfakes

Content Credentials are the best chance of forming standards that will combat deepfakes. As this approach is industry-driven and supported by the weight of the heaviest hitters in content industries, it means illegitimate content can be flagged across the vast bulk of the internet — similar to how virus-filled websites can be flagged to the point that they become effectively unfindable on search engines.

For this reason, IT professionals and others working with AI for content generation will want to understand Content Credentials in the same way that Web developers understand security, SEO and the standards that are expected to protect content from being flagged. Steps they should be taking include:

  • Implementing Content Credentials: First and foremost, the IT pros need to make sure their organisation actively adopts and integrates Content Credentials into workflows to ensure content authenticity and traceability.
  • Advocating for transparency: Both internally and externally, with partners and customers, advocate for organisations to be transparent about their use of AI and to adopt ethical practices in content creation and distribution.
  • Supporting regulation: Engage with industry bodies and government agencies to shape policies and regulations that address the challenges posed by deepfakes. This includes participating in the various inquiries the government will run on AI to help shape policy.
  • Collaborating: Work with other professionals and organisations to develop standardised practices and tools for identifying and mitigating the risks associated with deepfakes.
  • Preparing response strategies: Have a plan in place for when deepfakes are detected, including steps to mitigate damage and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Leveraging community resources: Finally, utilise resources from cybersecurity communities and governmental bodies like the eSafety Commissioner to stay updated and prepared.

Without a doubt, deepfakes are going to be one of the most significant challenges the tech industry and IT pros will need to develop an answer for. Content Credentials offers an excellent starting point that the industry can gravitate around.

The Rise of AI-Powered Gaming Laptops 

The in-thing right now in the gaming world is the introduction of AI-powered gaming laptops. Companies like Acer, Dell’s Alienware, Gigabyte, HP, and Lenovo, among several others, have released their own ranges of AI-powered laptops within the last couple of months in India.

However, despite the launches happening relatively close together, these laptops vary in how they use AI.

While Gigabyte advertises the use of AI in its AORUS series to better understand your habits and optimise the laptop’s performance, Acer’s Predator Helios series uses AI for a myriad of tasks, including using VSR to improve your graphics.

What’s the difference?

On March 13, Gigabyte announced its AI-powered laptops, the AORUS series. Shortly after, on March 19, Lenovo released an AI-powered range in its Legion series of gaming laptops in India. This was followed by HP, Acer, and Alienware, all releasing their own AI-powered laptops in April for the Indian market.

These aren’t the first companies to release AI-powered laptops; they certainly won’t be the last. But what makes them so different?

For starters, the AORUS series advertises the use of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPUs, which boosts performance by x20 for GenAI tasks. In terms of usage, though, they also boost several AI features, including AI Boost.

According to the company, AI Boost uses Microsoft Azure AI to automatically apply settings that optimise performance based on the game you’re playing.

Meanwhile, Lenovo uses its own Lenovo LA AI chips, which last year became the first dedicated AI chip on a gaming laptop. Like AORUS, the chip helps improve the laptop’s performance using Lenovo Vantage.

Through Vantage, machine learning software monitors your FPS while gaming and automatically adjusts your settings to ensure better performance.

Like the Legion and AORUS laptops, HP’s range of AI-powered laptops uses NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 GPUs. Additionally, they include Microsoft Copilot and Intel NPUs.

Here, HP’s India Senior Director of Consumer Sales Vineet Gehani emphasised that, alongside improving performance, AI is also used to assess battery life and adjust performance accordingly. However, whether this is a feature in the previous two remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, HP also boasts its own audio and video features powered by AI to “improve your calling experience. For instance, even if you are moving around while making a video call, the AI-enhanced features will ensure that your face stays static,” according to Gehani.

Similarly, Acer’s Predator Helios series also uses AI to improve its video calling experience, improve eye contact, and reduce noise. Acer also uses NVIDIA’s DLSS 3.5 to upscale the gaming experience, something shared by the other laptops that use NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 GPUs.

Next comes Alienware’s x16 R2 laptop, which, yet again, uses the same NVIDIA GPUs. You can see where we’re going with this. The laptop advertises mostly the same features – noise reduction, improved gaming performance, improved video and audio calling features, and an upscaled gaming experience.

What all these laptops have in common is NVIDIA’s RTX 40 series GPU, first announced in 2022. Following this announcement, most, if not all, companies scrambled to release their latest AI-powered gaming offerings.

While some of them seem to have added features, like Lenovo’s AI chips or even Intel NPUs, they mostly rely on the GPUs for what they advertise as their AI-powered series.

So, depending on what you’re going for, apart from minor features, it seems like AI usage across brands depends entirely on how the NVIDIA GPUs function.

With NVIDIA rumoured to release its RTX 5080 GPUs by the end of this year, we’re likely to see another influx of AI-powered gaming laptops within the next year—at least if the RTX 40 to AI-powered gaming laptop influx timeline is anything to consider.

And with the influx of more AI-powered gaming laptops, making a lot of background tasks more manageable, the idea of everyone becoming a gamer inches closer to reality.

GCCs in India Are Facing a Branding Problem 

India is increasingly becoming a top choice for Global Capability Centers (GCCs). Currently, there are just over 1,500 GCCs in India, and the number is slated to go up to 2,400 by 2030, according to an EY report.

The same report also indicates that the GCC market in India is expected to reach US$110 billion by the end of this decade.

Yet, despite the gold rush, there are numerous challenges GCCs face as they look to set up shop in the country. The most prominent among them, according to Innova Solutions president, APAC SBU, and India country head Pradeep Yadlapati, is branding.

“If you talk to engineers fresh out of college, they want to work for top IT companies because they don’t really know who these GCCs are. They may be big brands in their respective countries, but they are not big brands here. So they have a branding challenge as much as any other small company starting today,” Yadlapati told AIM.

Challenges for GCCs

As seen in the early days of outsourcing, there was scepticism, especially about outsourcing to India. Yadlapati pointed out that questions were raised on whether someone working remotely could effectively handle tasks traditionally done in-house.

Today, GCCs face a similar problem. “Teams must collaborate closely with parent organisations to deliver value, manage change, and address cultural differences. Our research shows that nearly 30% to 40% of GCCs cannot demonstrate value back to their parent organisation,” he said.

Other aspects that GCCs struggle with are estimating costs, operational expenses and economic models.

“Recently, I spoke to a GCC in Hyderabad. They mentioned securing two floors in a building with less than 50% occupancy. They have plans to increase occupancy but are struggling to do it. They’re facing challenges in managing operational costs, which increase as they plan to expand. Additionally, navigating change management introduces further complexities,” he said.

By solving this problem, Yadlapati believes GCCs can succeed in India and potentially solve India’s employment problem. Referring to a recent report highlighting how campus placements have come down over the years, he said GCCs can fill the void.

“There are people scouting for opportunities, and GCCs can create these opportunities for them,” he pointed out.

Helping GCCs establish themselves in India

Nonetheless, as more companies look to set up GCCs in India, this presents a consultancy opportunity, and Innova Solutions, a relatively smaller IT company, is capitalising on it.

“We begin right from the ideation stage and transition to what we term as the satellite state. Here, they focus on setting up operations, ensuring compliance, and strategising their workforce and workplace arrangements,” said Yadlapati, who has also spent over 26 years at Infosys.

Subsequently, they advance to become transformation catalysts for their organisations, establishing Centers of Excellence (CoE) and enhancing service maturity to drive value. They also enter the innovation phase, seeking transformation and new ideas.

“Throughout these stages, we provide support, leveraging our expertise in incubation, ideation, transformation catalyst roles, and innovation facilitation,” he said.

Furthermore, he emphasises that Innova Solutions’ presence across multiple cities in India, including Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Noida, serves as a significant advantage for the company.

Can Ruby Survive as the ‘Human-First’ Programming Language?

Ruby, a general-purpose programming language, and Rails, a framework for creating websites, apps, and systems recently released version 7.1.3.2, which addresses several security issues, as well as the ongoing efforts to improve the language’s performance and currency.

This was done through features like YJIT (Yet Another JIT Compiler) and Ractors (Ruby’s implementation of the Actor model), demonstrating the community’s commitment to keeping the framework relevant and up-to-date.

The language programmed to build websites and apps is used extensively by platforms like Shopify. It uses over 2.8 million lines of Ruby code and 500,000 commits. Besides, the entire backend of Airbnb was built on Ruby until 2018, when it pivoted some parts to Golang. It is also used by Netflix, GitHub, and Soundcloud.

But with the conversation shifting to AI, are more developers falling off the Ruby train? The language has declined in popularity in recent years, particularly among startups.

As a Ruby developer points out in a Hacker News discussion, “We are in a time where people prefer compiled, statically typed languages, which contribute to Ruby losing its popularity; that’s why alternatives like Crystal are growing.”

Despite the efforts to keep the language up to date, its tight coupling with the Rails framework, which is resource-intensive and rigidly monolithic in architecture, is the reason for its unpopularity. Another user on the same Hacker News thread suggested — “Ruby should really try to separate itself from it and shine on its own.”

This close association has led to a perception that Ruby is primarily a web development language, limiting its appeal to developers working on other types of projects.

Is there a solution?

The Ruby community, however, remains dedicated to improving the language and framework.

In a recent interview, David Heinemeier Hansson (DHH), the creator of Ruby on Rails, discussed the future of the language, suggesting that Ruby’s ‘human-first’ approach makes it well-suited for developers looking to remain relevant as AI becomes more prevalent in the industry.

“As we are now facing perhaps an existential tussle with AI, I think it’s never been more important that the way we design programming languages is designed for people,” DHH stated.

This approach includes principles like Convention Over Configuration, which minimises the decisions developers need to make. It also embraces Integrated Systems, where Rails provides a cohesive stack with pre-selected tools that work well together, reducing the setup and configuration tasks.

Despite all this, the usage of language is on a steady decline. According to a Stack Overflow survey, the language’s popularity fell from 8.4% in 2019 to 6.2% in 2023.

While the promise of AI-powered development is alluring, it’s crucial to consider the potential pitfalls, particularly for a language like Ruby and a framework like Rails.

“AI seems like the last nail in the coffin for an easy, slow-evolving, highly standardised ecosystem like Rails,” argued a user on Hacker News. The ease and simplicity that made Rails attractive in the first place might work against it in an AI-driven world. If AI can handle the boilerplate and heavy lifting, the value proposition of Rails diminishes.

Moreover, the rapid pace of AI advancements may not align well with Ruby’s slower, more deliberate evolution. As a detailed Reddit post noted, “I don’t think it’ll ever go back to being the primary driver of startups, as the world has passed it by.”

As developers flock to languages and frameworks that can keep up with the breakneck speed of AI innovation, Ruby risks being left behind.

However, it’s not all doom and gloom. Ruby’s emphasis on developer happiness and its thriving community are assets that shouldn’t be discounted.

Rather than trying to compete head-on with the latest AI-centric languages, Ruby’s path lies in doubling down on its strengths – its expressiveness, readability, and human-centric approach.

DHH believes that Ruby on Rails will continue to evolve and adapt to the changing tech landscape, emphasising the importance of simplicity in web development. He envisions a future where “individual programmers can understand the entire system that they’re working on”.

He further noted the importance of open-source collaboration and community-driven development, stating, “Ruby on Rails, from end-to-end, should be a free and open-source software that is not owned by any commercial entity. Then we can all work together to improve. We should never accept that something is too hard that it has to be done by commercial vendors.”

By focusing on integrating AI in a way that enhances rather than replaces the developer experience, Ruby can carve out a unique niche in the AI era.

Gartner: 4 Bleeding-Edge Technologies in Australia

For IT leaders, it is an exciting and challenging time. On the one hand, there is the need to be in a state of constant innovation. On the other hand, understanding where that innovation comes from and where the best areas to direct limited resources are can be difficult. Finding the right skills to cover emerging areas of innovation can be challenging too, set against a backdrop of a deepening skills crisis.

Some of the areas where technology will rapidly graduate from the stuff of science fiction to having a meaningful impact in the enterprise world in APAC, according to a recent Gartner webinar, are satellite communications, digital humans, tiny ambient Internet of Things and autonomous robots. For this article, we focus on what IT leaders in Australia need to know about these bleeding-edge technologies.

1. Satellite communications

Connectivity across Australia is going to undergo a significant transformation as low earth orbit satellite options become more commonplace. Currently, there’s just the one provider in Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starlink, but the Australian government set up a working group to explore LEO opportunities in early 2023 and expects there will be more providers emerging in the years ahead.

The government is exploring LEO technology with the following in mind:

  • Its potential role in closing the digital inclusion gap, particularly in relation to First Nations peoples.
  • Its role in supporting greater resilience and redundancy in emergency circumstances.
  • The potential for satellites to deliver universal telecommunications services.
  • The economic benefit that could come from greater LEOSat usage, including by facilitating the Internet of Things.

Given the size of Australia, and the extremely low population density across much of it, the ubiquity that LEO satellites promise could be an enormously effective way of unlocking much of the country by bringing fast internet to it for the first time. LEO satellites could become instrumental in furthering regional development and helping organizations reach and interact with populations outside of the major cities.

2. Digital humans

No, these are not the Joi units from Blade Runner 2049… or are they?

Digital humans are the digital twin concept, as applied to people. They were conceptualised by Gartner as “artificial entities designed to create new types of companions, assistants, therapists, and entertainers,” and Gartner predicts that by 2027, a majority of B2C enterprise CMOs will have a dedicated budget for digital humans.

But the applications of digital humans will extend far beyond simple marketing exercises. Australia’s leading scientific research organization, CSIRO, is actively exploring the “twinning” aspect of digital humans and using them as a model for experimentation and research. CSIRO highlighted some real-world applications of digital humans, which include:

  • A virtual model of an Olympic swimmer was used to assess the coach’s proposed changes to his technique.
  • A software tool that was provided to Diving Australia to allow interactive experimentation of virtual dive techniques for female synchronized diving athletes heading to Rio 2016. The coaches and athletes used it to trial technique alterations for improved scores without compromising performance or safety.
  • A virtual mouth is being used to inform the redesign of healthier food for greater consumer acceptance. The modelling process is increasing the understanding of in-mouth behavior and the effect of proposed design changes.

For now, digital humans are still a niche application of technology, but due to their requirements for extensive data management and software development, there will be growing demand for experts in this field in the years ahead.

3. Tiny ambient IoT

A tiny ambient IoT device is a 3GPP Internet of Things device that is much smaller and cheaper compared to previous generations of IoT, and the ultimate ambient IoT energy source is radio waves. This technology enables the tagging, tracking and sensing of objects without the complexity or cost of battery-powered devices.

While this concept hasn’t been explored to any great scale in Australia, in a symposium held on the Gold Coast last year, Gartner claimed: “This will enable new ecosystems; new business models based on knowing the location or behaviour of objects; smarter products with new behaviours; and a much lower cost of tracking and monitoring. Tiny ambient IoT will expand opportunities for a wide range of businesses, but Gartner recommends assessing potential social and regulatory issues before adoption.”

In the webinar, Gartner Vice President analyst in the Technology Innovation practice Arnold Gao highlighted examples around the world, such as one where researchers placed these tiny, battery-free IoT devices on butterflies without inhibiting the insect’s ability to move and operate; these can be printed for as little as $0.01 per sensor in bulk. Sensors that are extremely lightweight and inexpensive truly open up a host of new opportunities for businesses in all sectors.

4. Autonomous robots

In February, the Australian military, in collaboration with the U.K. and U.S., showcased autonomous vehicles and systems, powered by AI. Late last year, the Gatton AgTech Showcase held in Queensland attracted more than 1,000 attendees to see the latest in automated farm robotics, drones and more for the agricultural industry.

The application of AI to robotics was inevitable, but thanks to advancements in both fields of technology, we’re starting to see them brought together now. Between this year and 2030, the market for AI-enhanced robotics is projected to grow by 25.64% CAGR to US$935.80 million by 2030.

Autonomous robotics is one of the key areas of interest among those organizations that are pushing for Australia to increase its national investment in R&D from around 0.5% of GDP currently to 3% by 2035.

IT pros should focus on these capabilities to meet leader’s needs

While much of the focus on IT is currently in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, digital transformation and data, the next wave of innovations are going to bring these things together in an incredibly complex and nuanced way. IT professionals must be proactive in learning and mastering new technologies to stay relevant and competitive.

It is also clear that technologists will be expected to become more strategic than operational in their roles. The value of these advanced technologies is not in their creation and implementation — where technologies like AI will assist anyway — but rather in how they’re conceptualized and used. LTIMindtree, IBM Setup watsonx Center of Excellence for GenAI in India

The co-innovation center will combine the power of the IBM watsonx AI and data platform with the engineering skills of LTIMindtree.

The CoE, located in India, will focus on building point solutions to accelerate clients’ generative AI adoption journeys. It plans to offer a comprehensive suite of services, combining LTIMindtree’s expertise in data and machine learning model customisation and full-stack engineering with IBM watsonx technology, including watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, watsonx.governance, and AI assistants.

Nachiket Deshpande, COO and Whole-time Director of LTIMindtree, emphasised the importance of open innovation in the digital era, stating that the collaboration aims to position LTIMindtree at the forefront of advancing AI technologies and empowering businesses to achieve success with governance.

Kate Woolley, General Manager of IBM Ecosystem, highlighted the integral role of IBM Service Partners like LTIMindtree in helping enterprises maximise the benefits of generative AI technology throughout their AI adoption journey.
