This free mobile app empowers cross-lingual communication within India by translating text, voice, and images between 12 Indian languages. It is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and it is continuously being updated to enhance its features and performance.
Bhashini empowers users to effortlessly translate spoken words into text, text into spoken voice, and even website content through its “Browse” feature. This intuitive app fosters understanding and connection across diverse communities.

This model is specialised for document OCR, crafted to provide accurate results for printed text in documents. It’s important to note that Surya is designed for printed text and may not be suitable for photos or other images.
Additionally, it does not support handwriting recognition. One of its notable features is its ability to train itself to ignore advertisements, enhancing its focus on extracting information from the main content of documents.
