AutoVRse, an Indian company specialising in augmented and virtual reality solutions, unveiled VRseBuilder, an AI-powered platform to revolutionise corporate training on Tuesday.
With over 100 enterprise customers and 300,000 employees trained, VRseBuilder targets the challenges of scaling corporate training globally by making it faster, consistent, and more immersive.
In February, this Bengaluru-based startup raised $2 million in seed funding in a round led by Lumikai, a gaming and interactive media-focused venture capital fund. It indicated the increasing interest of the investment community in immersive technologies.
In a corporate environment where traditional training can be costly, time-intensive, and often lacking engagement, AutoVRse’s platform claims to cut development time by up to 93%. This allows organisations to deploy interactive training programs with minimal delay.
“VRseBuilder is revolutionising how enterprises approach training,” said Vishal Ahankari, business development lead at AutoVRse.
In an interview with AIM, Anuj Gupta, enterprise and sales lead at AutoVRse, previously confirmed that the company was using the metaverse for virtual prototyping of vehicle designs, AR/VR/Web3D-based virtual showrooms/configurators, and immersive training for assembly line workers.
The company’s customer list includes Volvo, UltraTech Cements, Tata Power, Vedanta, Accenture, Godrej MHE, and TVS Motors.
It expands the VR scenario in India, adding to Nimo Planet’s introduction of the Nimo 1 spatial earlier this year. The computer offers a portable, multi-screen workspace, enhancing productivity for professionals on the move.
It aligns with AutoVRse’s VRseBuilder, which transforms standard operating procedures into immersive VR training modules. Both innovations aim to streamline workflows and boost efficiency, reflecting a broader trend of integrating advanced technologies into enterprise operations to improve training and productivity.
Growth for India?
VRseBuilder offers a transformative solution for India’s training and development landscape. Its features convert standard operating procedures (SOPs) from formats like PDFs, JPEGs, and spreadsheets into VR prototypes.
This utilises advanced hand-tracking simulations and a customisable VR platform allows organisations to adapt and reuse templates for diverse training scenarios. The platform also includes a web-based dashboard to monitor training effectiveness, providing data-driven insights focusing on ROI.
Beyond software provision, AutoVRse positions itself as a partner in clients’ learning and development (L&D) teams. Its experts claim to work closely with clients to develop tailored initial modules, empowering internal teams to expand their VR training content independently.
“We don’t just provide software – we become an extension of our clients’ L&D teams,” stated Ahankari.
Indian businesses utilising VRseBuilder report significant outcomes, such as an 80% reduction in training time, a 60% improvement in performance metrics, and enhanced employee engagement.
Supporting Industry 4.0 goals, VRseBuilder drives automation and smart systems to boost productivity and innovation in India.
