MakeMyTrip is adopting ChatGPT-like AI to deliver voice-assisted vacation bookings
Making travel planning simpler, MakeMyTrip is adopting ChatGPT-like AI. MakeMyTrip and Microsoft on Monday announced a partnership to deliver voice-assisted booking in Indian languages. The new in-platform tech stack, which is supported by Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and Azure Cognitive Services, will interact with the user to provide personalized travel recommendations based on their preferences, curate vacation packages based on factors like occasion, budget, activity preferences, time of travel, etc., and even assist in booking these vacation packages. For consumers booking flights and vacations, a beta version of this integration has been made available in English and Hindi.
The user-friendly interface, powered by ChatGPT technology from Azure OpenAI Service, will examine unique user needs and sift through hundreds of possibilities to recommend, customize, and book vacation packages, turning what was a time-consuming process into an easy and convenient one. In addition, the service will give partners a summary of hotel reviews that draws out particular traveler experiences relevant to different groups, including solitary travelers, business travelers, couples, families, and others.
No matter the use case or circumstance, MakeMyTrip’s newest service leverages the power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to make travel-related solutions universal. Users can engage with the platform in any Indian language thanks to big language models, Indic language voice models, MakeMyTrip’s natural language understanding capability, and travel-related information.
