As of now, there are only a few players in the generative AI market, restricting the chances of propagandists taking advantage. As the number of companies increases, the control over what is put on public platforms will go haywire. “If more actors invest in state-of-the-art generative models, then this could increase the odds that propagandists gain access to them,” his report says.
