TCS is expanding its long-standing partnership with Google Cloud by adopting its agentic AI platform, Gemini Enterprise on its platforms.
The partnership will empower TCS’ workforce to build “agentic AI solutions to redefine Human plus AI workflows,” the company said in a statement.
Gemini Enterprise will enable development of custom agents and seamless integration of pre-built Google Cloud agents and third-party agents. Agent-to-agent communication and agentic orchestration capabilities of Gemini Enterprise will simplify multi-step operational workflows and accelerate scaling agentic solutions in enterprises.
The collaboration strengthens the broader TCSAI initiative towards capability building and reinforces the company’s commitment to democratise access to best-of-breed platforms.
The AI agents offered by Google Cloud via Gemini Enterprise are fully integrated with Google Cloud’s scalable and secure infrastructure and AI solutions, including BigQuery.
With one of the largest Google Cloud certified workforces and GenAI expertise in the industry, the IT major said that it is uniquely positioned to lead AI transformation for enterprises.
Thomas Kurian, chief executive officer, Google Cloud, said, “AI is fundamentally redefining the value that professional services firms offer, and Gemini Enterprise provides TCS with a single, integrated platform that unifies enterprise knowledge and empowers every employee to become a force multiplier for the business.”
Aarthi Subramanian, executive director – president and chief operating officer, TCS, said, “We have made significant investments in democratising access to AI technologies to our employees and Gemini Enterprise is a fresh addition to the TCS AI Infrastructure footprint.”
Subramanian added that by adopting Gemini Enterprise, the company is expanding its investments in people as well as accelerating innovation for its clients across industries.
Stating that Google Cloud has long been an integral part of the company’s cloud, data, and AI- powered transformations with its customers, the executive said that the new chapter in the partnership will further enhance the company’s capabilities and value proposition for its customers.
Notable implementations include Singapore’s FairPrice Group using agentic AI for “Store of Tomorrow” operations; CME Group accelerating legacy code modernisation with Google’s Gemini Code Assist; a major UK bank establishing a GenAI office for enterprise-wide AI adoption; and a European aerospace firm automating export control document management.
The partnership will continue developing domain-specific AI agents, leveraging TCS’ sector expertise and Gemini Enterprise’s multi-modal capabilities across banking, retail, CPG, manufacturing, and communications, the company informed.
In Q2 FY26, TCS reported $7.47 billion in revenue for the September quarter, up a weak 0.61% from the previous quarter and down 2.66% from last year—the first annual revenue decline for a Q2 in its history. Amidst this, the company said during the analyst call that it plans to invest $6–7 billion over the next six to seven years to build 1 GW of AI data centres.
