This collaboration involves Sarvam AI deploying a robust AI infrastructure, processing over 2 million pages of data, and developing advanced models using NVIDIA’s technology stack to integrate seamlessly with Infosys’ enterprise applications.

The newly developed models have demonstrated benchmark-leading performance, outperforming comparable models of similar size and setting a new standard for efficiency and precision in enterprise AI solutions.

Infosys recently launched its new small language models, Infosys Topaz BankingSLM and Infosys Topaz ITOpsSLM, developed with NVIDIA’s AI stack, to accelerate AI adoption in enterprises. The models, built through Infosys’ center of excellence for NVIDIA technologies, aim to offer robust solutions for industry-specific applications, especially in banking and IT operations.

Powered by NVIDIA’s AI Enterprise and AI Foundry, the small language models use both general and industry-specific data, fine-tuned with Infosys proprietary data. They integrate with Infosys Finacle and Topaz to support business functions, providing services like pretraining-as-a-service and fine-tuning-as-a-service for custom model development.

The Infosys-NVIDIA collaboration also features NIM Agent Blueprints, streamlining AI application development, along with new digital human blueprints for customer service.

Further, the partnership extends to digital solutions, including 3D workflows and digital twins, utilising NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise. Infosys Responsible AI suite, supported by NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, reinforces security and compliance.

Infosys recently announced a partnership with Meta as well to utilise the Llama stack, a collection of open-source large language models and tools, to build AI solutions across industries.

As an early adopter of Llama 3.1 and 3.2 models, Infosys is integrating these models with Infosys Topaz, the in-house AI platform, to create tools that deliver business value. One example is a document assistant powered by Llama that improves the efficiency of contract reviews.

“We are building industry-wide solutions. For market research, we have built one proof-of-concept (POC), and internally we are leveraging many Llama models for our AI-first journey,” an Infosys representative told AIM. The person further added that they have several other use cases, such as production use cases and document summarisation.
