The Authorities of Maharashtra, led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) value INR 450 crore with Nielsen India on the World Financial Discussion board 2025 in Davos. The settlement goals to spice up the state’s IT and ITeS sector by producing 1,100 new jobs in specialised technical fields similar to AI, knowledge science, and analytics.

The MoU was signed by Karthik Rao, CEO of Nielsen India, and highlights Maharashtra’s strategic push to ascertain itself as a world chief in know-how and innovation. This funding is predicted to reinforce the state’s capabilities in creating data-driven options, supporting its imaginative and prescient for technological development.
