Midjourney Announces Free Trials on its Web Browser

AI driven Image generation platform, Midjourney has in its recent update announced a temporary free trial feature which is set to enhance the user base. The company posted the update on its official X account along with a demonstration video to generate images.

The platform’s inference has been made user friendly by redesigning it making navigation and access to favourite tools and features easier. Users can now utilise a broader array of keywords and modifiers, allowing for greater customisation in their image generation requests. The introduction of a new collaborative feature allows users to invite and chat with other users on the platform fostering real-time feedback and allowing work on collaborative projects together.

Midjourney continues to innovate and refine its platform, Midjourney’s latest update, version 6.1, introduces a host of enhancements to its AI image generation capabilities. The update boasts improved image coherence, resulting in more realistic human features and natural-looking skin.

Two new 2x upscalers have been added, significantly boosting image and texture quality. Processing speeds have also been increased by approximately 25%, allowing for faster image generation. Text accuracy in prompts has been improved, and a new personalization model adds more nuance, surprise and accuracy to the generated content. These improvements solidify Midjourney’s position as a leader in the rapidly evolving field of AI art.

This new development has been met with enthusiasm from the user community on X, they have expressed enthusiasm for more striking AI generated artwork. Prashant, a data scientist and tech enthusiast commented, “Fight for generative image AI is heating up. Thanks for opening the gates to Midjourney wonderland.”

The comments also hinted at a shift from discord space to website for better user experience. Moazzam Shah, a youtube strategist, commented on how the discord version is clunky.

Midjourney’s journey from a psychedelic image generator to a realistic photo album has been marked by significant updates and feature enhancements. With the recent introduction of a free trial and a host of new features, Midjourney’s landscape evolves the ability to produce increasingly realistic and visually stunning images. However, there is intense competition in the domain with tools such Flux.1, Grok 2 and Google’s Imagen being equally brilliant.
