Edgehax, an Edge AI hardware startup, has secured ₹1.39 crore in seed funding led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The company plans to use the fresh capital to boost manufacturing, speed up product development and expand into international markets, including Singapore, the US and Europe.
Edgehax builds modular Edge hardware that integrates compute, network and storage on a single board, aiming to reduce dependency on overseas supply chains. Its platforms are already in use across industrial gateways, humanoid robots, autonomous vehicles, drones, NavIC-based defence tracking and 4G/5G connectivity. The company has also developed DvarOS, designed specifically for industrial Edge gateways.
The startup is among the beneficiaries of the Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS) by the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI). NGIS provides startups from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities with mentoring, funding support and market access.
“Edgehax’s success reinforces the mission of NGIS to empower startups with resources to scale globally while strengthening India’s ‘Make in India’ journey,” Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI, said in a statement.
Founded in 2025 by Prabhu Stavarmath and Savitri Patil, Edgehax claims to serve over 150 startups, OEMs and enterprises, while distributing developer kits to more than 1,00,000 students and faculty across 30 universities and IITs. The company recently won the NXP Silicon Seeds Startup Program 2025, enabling it to build low-cost Edge AI compute modules, and also secured recognition from the MeitY Bhashini Startup Velocity 1.0 programme.
“Our goal is to become a global pioneer in Edge AI Gateways and Single Board Computers, enabling rapid product development for startups and enterprises worldwide,” Stavarmath said. By 2029, the company aims to support 100 million developers globally.
