Infosys said it is expanding its long-term collaboration with Sunrise, Switzerland’s second-largest telecommunications provider, to support the company’s IT transformation.
The Indian IT giant will help Sunrise build a modern, agile, and secure technology foundation. The effort is aimed at driving innovation and ensuring future readiness, according to an official release.
Infosys has been a key partner in streamlining Sunrise’s IT landscape, providing services across design, development, testing, deployment, and operations. The company said it has consolidated multiple vendors into a unified portfolio and transitioned a wide range of applications.
The IT giant said the partnership reflects a strong cultural alignment between the teams. The work is creating a scalable and secure technology environment that supports Sunrise’s IT transformation and sets the stage for AI-enabled initiatives.
Infosys added that it will bring its expertise in AI, analytics, and data, including elements of Infosys Topaz, its AI-first generative AI platform. This will help Sunrise move towards becoming an AI-powered organisation.
The company said the collaboration will unlock business value by enhancing speed, efficiency, and quality through data-driven insights and automation. It will also strengthen customer service through higher reliability, faster launches, and more personalised digital experiences.
Anna Maria Blengino, CIO, Sunrise, said, “Through our strategic collaboration, we are consolidating our technology landscape and infusing it with AI, putting enhanced customer experience at the heart of this transition.”
Upendra Kohli, executive vice president – communication, media and technology (Americas and Europe), Infosys, said, “By infusing advanced intelligence across their operations, Infosys is supporting Sunrise in its efforts to continuously innovate and deliver unparalleled experiences for their customers, all while upholding the highest standards of data security and integrity.”
