Healthcare-based SaaS startup Zealthix has raised $1.1 million in a seed round led by Unicorn India Ventures, with participation from AlphaGen Venture Capital. The company will use the funding to expand operations, strengthen revenue growth and further enhance its technology platform aimed at digitising India’s healthcare ecosystem, the press release stated.
Founded in 2023 by entrepreneurs Abhishek Kumar and Avinash Gupta, Zealthix offers a comprehensive SaaS-based infrastructure for payers and insurers, enabling them to provide OPD and comprehensive healthcare plans with efficiency and innovation.
Its cloud-based middleware platform integrates fragmented healthcare systems, delivering a cashless OPD network and streamlining the process of curating and managing health plans.
Over the past year, Zealthix has signed 20 customers, including insurers, brokers and care plan companies. The startup’s OPD stack is already live with multiple partners and insurers.
The platform has also been certified by the National Health Authority as a connector, making any health provider Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission-compliant and interoperable. Notably, Zealthix is the first platform to be certified by the Open Network for Digital Commerce for Healthcare Seller Node, helping democratise healthcare distribution in India.
Commenting on the investment, Anil Joshi, managing partner at Unicorn India Ventures, said, “India’s healthcare SaaS sector has entered a golden phase of adoption. What we are witnessing is not just digitisation but the creation of a robust, scalable ecosystem that will redefine how healthcare services are offered. Zealthix has built the right momentum to capitalise on this segment.”
Looking ahead, Zealthix plans to double down on reaching more health providers, making their operations compliant, digitised and AI-enabled. On the payer side, the company will expand its OPD stack to cover broader use cases, offering tools for product configuration, monitoring utilisation and managing renewals.
