Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy has been steadily steering the company toward becoming a major player in the AI data cloud space. Under his leadership, Snowflake has launched Cortex AI, which includes tools like Cortex Analyst and Cortex Search, enabling users to engage with their data through natural language.
Ramaswamy has also strengthened Snowflake’s AI capabilities through an expanded partnership with NVIDIA. Following the acquisition of Neeva, which Ramaswamy co-founded, Snowflake is now integrating advanced LLM technology into its platform. Neeva’s expertise in generative AI and LLMs has enriched Snowflake’s Data Cloud, particularly enhancing its natural language processing and search features.
Besides Snowflake acquired TruEra, an AI startup specialising in tools for testing, debugging, and monitoring machine learning and large language model applications in production.
