Big tech AWS is launching a new program called Generative AI Competency to meet the rising demand for generative AI solutions.
The AWS Generative AI Competency is a specialised program to facilitate the swift adoption of generative AI solutions among AWS customers. The Competency Partners offer a comprehensive range of services, tools, and infrastructure with tailored solutions in areas like security, applications, and integrations, providing customers with flexibility and choice across models and technologies.
AWS claims to be the first to launch a Generative AI competency for partners. This competency validates the business and technical expertise of partners, instilling confidence in AWS customers investing in generative AI solutions.
This includes both AWS Services Partners and AWS Software Partners. The program is designed to facilitate customer innovation with enterprise-grade security, privacy, foundation models, and high-performance, low-cost infrastructure.

Customers will be able to leverage Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, AWS Trainium, AWS Inferentia, and accelerated computing instances on Amazon EC2. These partners have proven expertise in building and deploying innovative applications across various industries, including healthcare, media, public sector, and financial services.
